Welding / Fabrication Manager

Position: Welding / Fabrication Manager
Location: Fleetwood
Salary: £35,000/year
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Start Date: Immediate

Masterstaff is seeking a skilled and experienced Welding / Fabrication Manager to join our clients team in Fleetwood. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional with a strong background in TIG, MIG, and MAG welding processes, looking to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day welding and fabrication operations

  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest quality and safety standards

  • Read and interpret welding maps and procedures

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of welding standards across the site

  • Lead and develop a team of welders and fabricators

  • Work closely with engineering and quality teams to meet project deadlines

Essential Requirements:
  • Proven experience in TIG, MIG, and MAG welding

  • Strong understanding of weld maps and procedures

  • Previous supervisory or managerial experience within a fabrication environment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Responsible Welding Coordinator (RWC) qualification – training can be provided

  • Experience in the Nuclear or Aerospace industry
