On behalf of our prestigious client we are seeking to recruit Materials Handler to join their busy manufacturing team. As a Materials Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and handle materials, ensuring they are properly stored and ready for distribution.

Duties to include:

• Working to standard daily work schedules
• Locate manufacturing parts and move them to the relevant production areas
• Assemble small mechanical fittings and assemblies
•  Ensure that all works meet quality standards
• Reporting to management and team leaders
• Collect manufacturing job drawings and attend team meetings
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Required Skills:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or materials handling role would be an advantage
• Ability to assemble small manufacturing products
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly to work colleagues
•  Ability to use small hand tools
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
