Warehouse Operatives – Kendal
MasterStaff are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join an established warehouse and distribution company based in Kendal, Cumbria.

Pay: £12.71 – £13.68 per hour
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of a busy warehouse environment, ensuring goods are handled, stored and prepared for dispatch safely and efficiently.
Your duties will include:
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries and vehicles
- Sorting, organising and moving stock within the warehouse
- Preparing goods and orders ready for dispatch
- Checking incoming deliveries against order information
- Labelling, scanning and processing warehouse stock
- Ensuring goods are stored safely and correctly
- Carrying out general warehouse and manual handling duties
- Checking products for damage and reporting any issues
- Meeting daily productivity and quality targets
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment
- Working effectively with other members of the warehouse team
- Following all warehouse health and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for Warehouse Operatives who are:
- Experienced in warehouse, picking, packing or distribution work, although previous experience is not essential
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced warehouse environment
- Able to carry out physical and manual handling duties
- Accurate with good attention to detail
- Able to follow instructions and work efficiently
- Comfortable working towards daily targets
- Flexible and willing to work different shift patterns
- Able to work independently when required
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety
Previous warehouse or distribution experience would be beneficial, but candidates with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
Experience as a Warehouse Operative, Picker Packer, Warehouse Assistant, Production Operative, Order Picker, Packing Operative or Distribution Operative would be beneficial.
