MasterStaff are currently recruiting an experienced TIG Welder / Fabricator to join an established engineering and manufacturing company based in Blackpool.

This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent opportunity working 39 hours per week, ideal for an experienced welder looking for consistent hours and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

Pay: £13.87 – £15.54 per hour

The Role

As a TIG Welder / Fabricator, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality welded and fabricated components while working from engineering drawings and specifications.

Your duties will include:

• TIG welding and fabrication of components
• Producing accurate, high-quality TIG welds
• Reading and working from engineering drawings and specifications
• Fabricating and assembling components
• Preparing materials ready for welding
• Checking completed welds and finished components
• Using welding, fabrication and workshop equipment
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship
• Keeping your work area clean and organised
• Working effectively with other members of the production team
• Following workshop health and safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an experienced TIG Welder / Fabricator who is:

• Experienced in TIG welding
• Confident with welding and fabrication work
• Able to read and work from engineering drawings
• Accurate with good attention to detail
• Experienced within an engineering, manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Comfortable using workshop tools and equipment
• Able to work independently when required
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable with a good approach to health and safety

Previous TIG welding experience is essential for this position.

Experience as a TIG Welder, Welder Fabricator, Fabricator Welder, TIG Fabricator or Production Welder would be beneficial.

Hours & Location

• 39 hours per week
• Full-time hours
• Based in Blackpool, Lancashire
