We are currently recruiting Production Operative on behalf of our client based in Kendal.

This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals looking for ongoing work within a busy manufacturing environment. Due to the location of the site, a Full UK Driving Licence and your own transport are essential.

Job Responsibilities

As a Production Operative, your duties may include:

• Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
• Manual handling and heavy lifting of materials and finished products
• Loading and unloading products
• Packing, labelling and preparing products for dispatch
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
• Keeping production and work areas clean and organised
• Following all health & safety procedures at all times
• Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets
• Supporting other departments with general production duties as required

Hours Available

Full-time hours available. Shift patterns will be discussed during the application process.

Pay Rate

£12.71 – £14.24 per hour

Requirements

We’re looking for candidates who are:

• Reliable and punctual
• Physically fit and able to undertake heavy lifting and manual handling
• Able to work efficiently as part of a team
• Hardworking with a positive attitude
• Able to follow instructions and health & safety procedures
• Previous production, manufacturing, factory or warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential

Essential Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Own transport due to the location of the site

Location & Transport

The site is based in Kendal. Due to the rural location and limited public transport, you must have your own transport and hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
