MasterStaff are currently recruiting reliable 7.5 Tonne Box Van Drivers to join an established team based in Preston.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering guaranteed Monday to Friday hours, early finishes, paid school summer holidays and a £1,000 annual bonus.
You’ll receive 8 hours’ guaranteed pay every shift, even if you finish your work early.
The Role
As a 7.5 Tonne Box Van Driver, you’ll be responsible for completing scheduled deliveries safely, efficiently and professionally.
Your duties will include:
- Driving a 7.5 tonne box van
- Completing scheduled deliveries
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Ensuring goods are transported safely and securely
- Completing relevant delivery paperwork
- Following planned routes and schedules
- Providing a professional service at delivery locations
- Keeping the vehicle clean and presentable
- Reporting any vehicle defects or issues
- Following road safety and company procedures
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for experienced 7.5 Tonne Drivers who are:
- Experienced in driving 7.5 tonne vehicles
- Reliable and punctual
- Confident completing scheduled delivery routes
- Professional and customer-focused
- Able to work independently
- Safety-conscious with a responsible approach to driving
- Comfortable with early morning starts
- Available to work Monday to Friday
Applicants should hold the appropriate licence and qualifications required to drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
Hours & Location
- 5am – 1pm, Monday to Friday
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- 8 hours’ pay guaranteed every shift
- Finish early and you’ll still receive the full 8 hours’ pay
- Breaks are not deducted from your pay
- Based in Preston
- School summer holidays off – fully paid
