FLT Driver – Night Shift – Morecambe
MasterStaff are currently recruiting an experienced FLT Driver to join an established warehouse and distribution company based in Morecambe.
This is a full-time night shift opportunity, ideal for an experienced forklift truck driver looking for consistent hours and the opportunity to secure long-term employment.
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
The Role
As an FLT Driver, you’ll be responsible for safely operating forklift trucks, moving stock and supporting the smooth running of a busy warehouse and distribution operation.
Your duties will include:
- Operating forklift trucks safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries and vehicles
- Moving, stacking and organising stock within the warehouse
- Transporting goods and materials around the site
- Ensuring stock is stored safely and correctly
- Picking and preparing goods for dispatch when required
- Completing daily forklift safety checks
- Supporting general warehouse duties when required
- Maintaining accurate stock handling procedures
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised
- Working effectively with other members of the warehouse team
- Following all site health and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for an experienced FLT Driver who is:
- Experienced in operating forklift trucks
- In possession of a valid FLT licence
- Confident loading, unloading and moving stock
- Experienced within a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently when required
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Flexible and comfortable working night shifts
- Committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety
Previous FLT driving experience is essential for this position.
Experience as an FLT Driver, Forklift Truck Driver, Counterbalance Driver, Reach Truck Driver, Warehouse FLT Operative or Forklift Operator would be beneficial.
