We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Operatives to join their busy manufacturing team in Lancaster. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and an interest in manufacturing processes to develop their skills within a supportive working environment.
The successful candidates will play a key role in the manufacturing process, ensuring materials and products are supplied accurately and efficiently to support production.
Key Responsibilities
- Supply machinery and production lines with the correct materials and products
- Follow assembly line instructions accurately and safely
- Carry out quality checks throughout the production process to identify defects or inconsistencies
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation to ensure safety and efficiency
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures at all times
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly
What We’re Looking For
- Previous assembly or machine-operating experience would be advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge or an understanding of basic manufacturing processes is desirable
- Good manual dexterity and strong organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Previous assembly experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided
