We are currently recruiting HGV Mechanics on behalf of our client based in Manchester for ongoing roles.

Job Responsibilities

As an HGV Mechanic, your duties may include:

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGV vehicles
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Performing inspections and safety checks
• Ensuring all work is completed to high industry standards
• Maintaining accurate service and repair records
• Working efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime
• Following all health and safety procedures

Pay Rates

• £15.00 – £19.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Shifts Available

We offer a range of shift patterns, including:

• Day shifts
• Overtime available
• Weekend work may be available

(Shift availability may vary based on client requirements.)

Requirements

We’re looking for candidates who are:

• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance / Mechanical Engineering
• Experienced in HGV maintenance and repair
• Able to diagnose and resolve faults efficiently
• Able to drive HGV vehicles
• Reliable and punctual
• Good team players with a professional attitude
