We are currently seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our client’s established and growing team based in Kendal. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for long-term, stable work, strong earning potential, and a well-supported working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out MIG and TIG welding and fabrication work to a high standard across a range of metal components

• Read, interpret, and work accurately from engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical specifications

• Measure, mark out, cut, and assemble materials with precision

• Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently

• Conduct self-inspection and quality checks to ensure all work meets required standards and tolerances

• Work to production schedules while maintaining high levels of quality

• Follow all health & safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised workspace

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years’ proven experience as a MIG and TIG Welder/Fabricator

• Confident working independently from technical and fabrication drawings

• Strong understanding of welding procedures, joint preparation, and fabrication techniques

• Ability to consistently produce high-quality work with excellent attention to detail

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards

• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
